Bridal Costs and General FAQ

Being trusted to be part of your big day is a huge privilege and one I take very seriously.
It is paramount to me to have a happy, satisfied and confident bride.

Why do a trial run?

A makeup trial in my view is vital for the bride. It gives both the bride and makeup artist time to establish a rapport which really pays off when it comes to the all-important wedding day!

During this time a relaxed atmosphere is created and the expectations of the bride can be discussed fully and actioned. We will chat about colours, hair, face shapes, tones, likes and dislikes. We will work together to create the desired look encouraging feedback.  This is vital and welcomed by myself as your dreams are possible but we need to work together to create them.

As we move through the trial finding colours and products you like I will make a note of every detail.

This will ensure the application on your wedding day runs smoothly and you look exactly as you did for your trial.

A trial will also help me with timings so I can set a schedule that coincides with the photographer’s schedule as well as your wedding coordinators if you have one.

Above all a trial is great fun!

Do you do hair as well as make-up?

I work alongside excellent hairdressers who I can highly recommend. If you would like further details please let me know.

What make-up do you use?

I adore make-up and respect the benefits of many products. Therefore my box is full of a variety of brands. My favourites however include Charlotte Tilbury MAC, Bobbie Brown, Urban Decay, Estee Lauder, Channel, Clinique and Bare Minerals.

When should I book my make-up trial?

The trial takes place approximately 6-8 weeks before the big day.

I can do trials on mums and bridesmaids too if required.

I like to allow up to 2 hours for the trial, this gives us time to play with colours and perfect the look you require.

I want you to feel pampered and not rushed.

It’s handy to have some ideas or pictures of make-up that you like the look of.

Please note should you cancel this trial session with less than 24 hours’ notice, full payment is required.

Where will you do my wedding make-up on the big day?

I will come to your home or venue.

How far do you travel?

I cover a 10-mile radius of Abingdon. Anything over 10 miles will be chargeable at 50p per mile. Please note that a minimum £10.00 call-out charge on all mobile visits is in place.
